Winter in the Stubai Valley
The Stubai Glacier is the largest glacier skiing area of Austria and guarantees snow from October till June. The observation deck "Top of Tyrol" offers a breathtaking view at 40 glaciers and 109 mountains higher than 3000 meters.
The ski bus takes you within 20 minutes to the valley station of the Stubai Glacier or to one of the surrounding skiing areas like SCHLICK 2000, ELFER or SERLESBAHNEN.
Next to our place you will find the "Sonnenberg" ski lift with magic-carpet for our smallest guests. Once a week there is a ski-school demonstration and night skiing.
Everybody who wants to spend a quiet holiday, can discover 130 km of cross country skiing tracks with direct access next to our house. A part of the track is also illuminated for night cross country skiing.
What about taking a tour to one of the cosy mountain lodges, or having a funny evening of tobogganing?
Summer in the Stubai Valley
Discover the mountains of the Stubai Valley with 850 km of marked hiking paths and enjoy a visit at one of over 50 mountain lodges and mountain huts. Start a tour to a summit or explore the impressive spots of the "Wild Water path"
Besides a lot of huts, you will find a variety of climbing paths for all degrees of difficulty.
Also paragliders will enjoy their stay in the Stubai Valley. Beginners can take some lessons or book a tandem flight with experts of the air.
The valley also offers also a lot for mountain bikers. 720 km of wonderful, and well-marked tracks, are waiting to be discovered with our bikes that can be rented for free.
Just some meters away from our house you will find a natural lake for swimming, with special treated water. It is the ideal place after an adventurous vacation day.
