Adapted to the conditions in the Alps, alpine skiing became also popular here as of the 1920ies. At the beginning, it was an experience for few people only, but today it has become a popular sport in the alpine experience area and forms the centre of entertaining winter holidays in the Stubaital. Four skiing areas allow numerous winter sports fans to experience unforgettable skiing moments every year. Limitless skiing fun at the Stubai Glacier, the family-friendly atmosphere in the Schlick 2000 skiing centre, the beginner-friendly skiing area of the Serlesbahnen as well as the challenging slopes of the Elferlifte provide for varied holidays in the Stubaital. Beginners and professional, piste and free riders, short-run and mogul slope lovers –there are suitable descents matching every taste in the Stubai.

Tyrolean mountain summer

In the summer months, the Stubaital presents itself as a unique natural jewel. Lush meadows and mighty 3000m peaks form an unbelievable backdrop.
Numerous hikes can be undertaken, the Wilder Wasserweg, at the Grawa waterfall, an incomparable natural spectacle, as well as classic huts allow multi-day adventures high up in the mountains. Climbing, paragliding, hiking, biking, running, Nordic walking, horseback riding or just relaxing - you're sure to find a suitable leisure program in the Stubaital. The landscape lake "Klausäuele" with the newly created children's playground and high ropes course as well as the Wilde Wasserweg is only a few minutes' drive from our house!

The Stubai Super Card - the INCLUSIVE CARD

If you spend your stay with a participating partner company, a large number of services are included in your holiday in Stubaital:

• Free use of the Stubai Glacier cable car: 1 ascent and descent per day (no transport with ski equipment)
• Free use of the Serlesbahnen: 1 ascent and descent per day
• 1 ride on the Mieders summer toboggan run per week
• Free use of the Schlick 2000 cable cars: 1 ascent and descent per day
• Free use of the Elferbahnen in Neustift: 1 ascent and descent per day
• Free travel on the Innsbruck transport company buses between Mutterberg and Innsbruck
• Free travel on the Fulpmes-Innsbruck-Fulpmes Stubaitalbahn
• Two entries per week for 3 hours to the bathing area in the StuBay adventure pool (entry to the sauna possible for a surcharge)
• Free use of the Mieder swimming pool

You will receive the Stubai Super Card for your stay in the period from 16. May 2025 - 2. November 2025 at the participating landlords.

The Stubai Card - the PURCHASE CARD

For those guests who do not spend their holidays in a partner company of the Stubai Super Card, the Stubai Card is an alternative (available only with a Stubai Guest Card). This includes the same services as the Stubai Super Card and can be used on 5 freely selectable days within a period of 7 consecutive days (5 in 7). The Stubai Card is available in the offices of the tourism association and the 4 mountain railways.

Children

Stubai Glacier: Children under the age of 10 travel free on the cable cars when accompanied by a paying parent.
Schlick 2000: Children under 10 years free if parents have a Stubai (purchase) card. Show your child's purchase card and ID at the ticket office.
Elferbahnen: Children pay from 7 years.
Serlesbahnen: Cable car free for children under 10 years if parents have a Stubai (purchase) card. Show purchase card and child's ID at the ticket office. Summer toboggan run is payable from 6 years.

For other services (swimming pools, public transport, etc.), children without a Stubai Card must pay the regular admission or ticket prices.
