Winter Sports at the Highest Level

With four ski areas, including the Stubai Glacier – the largest glacier ski resort in Austria, the Stubai Valley offers perfect conditions for winter sports enthusiasts, from beginners to experienced skiers. The glacier can be reached from our house in only about 10 minutes by car.

But the valley also has plenty to offer away from the slopes: romantic torchlight hikes, cozy evenings in traditional mountain huts, or exciting toboggan runs, some of them even at night. Winter guests can also enjoy beautiful cross-country ski trails, winter hiking paths, and numerous natural toboggan runs.

The Stubai Valley is also ideal for families with children. Ski schools for children offer special practice areas with ski carousels, wave tracks, conveyor belts, and colorful figures, making it easy and fun for young beginners to learn skiing.

Tyrolean Mountain Summer

In summer, the Stubai Valley reveals itself as an impressive natural paradise. Lush alpine meadows and the majestic 3,000-meter peaks of the Stubai Alps create a spectacular backdrop.

Numerous hiking trails lead through the diverse mountain landscape. One of the highlights is the WildeWasserWeg (Wild Water Trail) with the impressive Grawa Waterfall, one of the most beautiful natural attractions in the region. Multi-day hut-to-hut hikes are also possible.

In addition to hiking, the Stubai Valley offers many other activities such as climbing, paragliding, mountain biking, running, Nordic walking, and horse riding.

Just a few minutes by car from our house, you will also find the Klausäuele landscape lake with a children’s playground – a popular destination for families.

If you spend your stay with a participating partner company, a large number of services are included in your holiday in Stubaital:

• Free use of the Stubai Glacier cable car: 1 ascent and descent per day (no transport with ski equipment)

• 1 ride on the Mieders summer toboggan run per week

You will receive the Stubai Super Card for your stay in the period from 16. May 2025 - 2. November 2025 at the participating landlords.

The Stubai Card - the PURCHASE CARD

For those guests who do not spend their holidays in a partner company of the Stubai Super Card, the Stubai Card is an alternative (available only with a Stubai Guest Card). This includes the same services as the Stubai Super Card and can be used on 5 freely selectable days within a period of 7 consecutive days (5 in 7). The Stubai Card is available in the offices of the tourism association and the 4 mountain railways.

Children

Stubai Glacier: Children under the age of 10 travel free on the cable cars when accompanied by a paying parent.
Schlick 2000: Children under 10 years free if parents have a Stubai (purchase) card. Show your child's purchase card and ID at the ticket office.
Elferbahnen: Children pay from 7 years.
Serlesbahnen: Cable car free for children under 10 years if parents have a Stubai (purchase) card. Show purchase card and child's ID at the ticket office. Summer toboggan run is payable from 6 years.

For other services (swimming pools, public transport, etc.), children without a Stubai Card must pay the regular admission or ticket prices.
